Al Ahly - FUS de Rabat 78-89

FUS de Rabat shocked the defending champions at the 2024 BAL Playoffs. The Moroccan champions overcame Al Ahly 89-78.
Al Ahly trailed 3 points at the end of the first quarter, however won the second frame 30-19 to take a 49-41 halftime advantage. FUS de Rabat meanwhile dominated the second half. They replied with a 17-15 run in the third quarter and erupted with a 31-14 surge at the end.
Aliou Diarra (200-F-2001) led the way with 21 points and Ken Brown (180-PG-1989, college: Philander Smith) scored 20. Johnathan Jordan (178-PG-1992, college: TAMUCC, agency: Slash Sports) followed them with 14 points in the winning effort. Mark Lyons (185-G-1989, college: Arizona) answered with 20 points in a loss.
